Department Summary EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst I in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Provide financial support to the North America Enterprise Division in all aspects of analysis and reporting, including program revenues and costs, departmental expenses, capital expenditures, and various Balance Sheet accounts Collect and organize large datasets from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness for reporting packages Ensure the highest standards of accuracy in all financial models and reports, as precision plays a critical role in business decision-making Work cross-functionally to provide stakeholders with analysis of financial results and facilitate monthly updates to forecasts for various programs Assist in developing annual budgets and maintaining rolling financial forecasts. Convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders to help drive actionable insights Collaborate with the accounting team to validate financial data integrity, bridging the gap between financial reporting and forward-looking analysis Support other Enterprise businesses as needed
Skills, Experience and Requirements Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting 2+ years of experience in FP&A or Accounting role
Preferred Qualifications:
High proficiency in Excel, including building macros, interactive dashboards and charts Some knowledge of Tableau & Power BI Experience with SAP & Hyperion Self-starter with a strong attention to detail Adept at navigating changing business environments Forward-thinker who looks to enhance business and program economics Visa sponsorship not available for this position.
Salary Ranges Compensation:

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
