Chemical Manufacturing About The Role Our client, a global leader in hygiene, water, and infection prevention solutions, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its North America Food Retail Services business. This role is critical in driving sales growth and profitability through financial modeling, pricing strategy, and data-driven insights. Based in Greensboro, North Carolina, this position partners closely with sales, finance, and cross-functional teams to influence key business decisions and optimize customer-level performance. Job Description The Financial Analyst will support sales and finance teams by developing financial models, conducting detailed analysis, and contributing to pricing and profitability strategies across a diverse customer portfolio. This role plays a key part in evaluating business opportunities, improving margins, and supporting ongoing financial operations. Support sales teams in achieving revenue and profitability growth objectives Prepare pro-forma profit and loss (P&L) statements for customer renewals, bids, and new business opportunities Develop quarterly customer-level P&Ls and perform detailed product margin analysis Partner with sales teams to model alternative pricing strategies and program structures Analyze global customer pricing and provide recommendations to improve profitability Maintain and enhance financial models used by the Corporate Accounts Finance team Utilize tools such as Excel, SAP, and Power BI to perform reporting and ad hoc analysis Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, rebate tracking, and variance analysis against budget and prior year Assist in managing the annual sales budgeting process for assigned accounts Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Fixed Asset and Distributor Finance, on reporting, capital spend, and accruals Support the preparation of executive-level business reviews and presentations for customers and leadership
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 3-7 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably supporting sales or commercial teams Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations Experience preparing P&Ls, variance analysis, and pricing models Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence business decision-making Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
