JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Bar ALE, Inc. is a regional commercial livestock feed manufacturer and distributor. The company makes conventional, non-GMO, and certified organic animal feed products. These products are used by commercial dairy, beef, swine, and poultry operations in bulk and bagged form. The company also packages its products for distribution and sale through retail feed stores. This is a key leadership role under the direction of the President and COO. Key or typical tasks and responsibilities:
Manage Accounting Operations:
Manage all finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Perform Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Compliance & Audit:
Ensure adherence to statutory laws, tax regulations, and managing relationships with external auditors.
Internal Controls:
Establish and maintaining internal control policies and procedures to minimize risk.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the budgeting process, forecasting revenue, and monitoring variance between actuals and budgets.
Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in agricultural business, accounting, OR equivalent experience. Ideal candidates would hold the following qualities, and attributes:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be willing to understand and embrace the Company's values and core objectives.
  • Have thorough knowledge of financial accounting.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office Software
  • Familiar with SAP Business One software or equivalent ERP systems
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to operate a keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in an environment where grain dust exists.
Job Type:

$60,000.00
