Financial Institution Data Processor/Teller

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Processor/Teller to join our dedicated team. Our institution prides itself on providing exceptional financial services and building lasting relationships with our customers. A successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping customers by solving problems, answering questions and educating them on bank products.

Duties:

Data Processor responsibilities may include processing daily transactions and reports, monitoring electronic banking activity, balancing accounts, handling ACH and return items, processing wires and payments, maintaining records, and assisting with customer account maintenance. Duties also include fraud/risk monitoring, statement processing, reconciliations, document scanning and filing, and supporting various operational and compliance functions. Additional responsibilities include assisting customers in person and by phone with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, money orders, certificates of deposit, night deposits, mail deposits, and check orders. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills. Capable of identifying opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services. Collaborate with staff to ensure customers receive consistent service across all channels. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations and new product offerings.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in cash handling and strong math skills
• Strong sales and upselling skills
• Ability to detect and prevent fraud effectively
• Excellent keyboarding skills
• 2 to 4 year college degree or prior financial institution experience preferred
