Location Statesboro Campus - Statesboro, GA Department Information Financial Planning & Analysis Job Summary The FP&A Assistant provides entry-level support for financial planning, reporting, and administrative functions within the Financial Planning & Analysis office. This position assists with data entry, report preparation, reconciliation, and routine financial support activities while learning institutional budgeting and financial processes. The role works closely with FP&A staff and campus stakeholders to ensure accurate financial information and efficient operations. Responsibilities Assist with data entry and maintenance of budget, forecast, and financial planning information Prepare routine financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation Review financial data for accuracy and completeness and report discrepancies to FP&A staff Support the preparation and distribution of budget and forecast materials Maintain organized electronic and physical financial records and files Assist with monitoring expenditures and tracking budget activity Respond to routine requests for financial information and documentation Support position budgeting and personnel tracking activities as directed Utilize institutional financial systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to complete assigned tasks Participate in training and professional development related to budgeting, finance, and higher education operations Collaborate with FP&A staff and campus departments to support operational and reporting needs Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications Additional Preferred Qualifications Coursework or training in business, accounting, finance, or related field Preferred Experience Experience using Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software Experience in an office, customer service, or administrative support environment Proposed Salary $19.23 - $20.19 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
