Job Description:
Financial Planning Associate - Boston, MA A well-established Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) is seeking a Financial Planning Associate to join its growing wealth management team in Boston. This role is ideal for an experienced financial planning professional who enjoys working directly with clients, building comprehensive plans, and partnering closely with senior advisors to deliver a high-touch client experience. Position Overview The Financial Planning Associate will work alongside a Senior Client Advisor to support a select group of high-net-worth clients with financial planning, relationship management, and ongoing service needs. Key Responsibilities Partner closely with a Senior Client Advisor to support a designated book of clients by assessing financial needs, goals, and planning objectives Gather and organize client data to develop comprehensive financial plans using financial planning software Prepare client presentations, meeting materials, and planning analyses Attend client meetings, take detailed notes, and manage follow-up action items Document all client interactions, meeting notes, and tasks within the CRM system Build strong client relationships and serve as a reliable point of contact for client requests and questions Assist in delivering a seamless and high-quality client experience throughout the planning process
Qualifications Required:
5+ years of financial planning or wealth management experience Bachelor's degree required Experience using financial planning software and CRM systems Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Client-facing experience with strong communication and relationship management skills
Preferred:
