Fine Dining Host (Seasonal)

Host Job Summary:

130-seat fine dining steakhouse with adjoining bar/lounge and private dining room located in exclusive area in North Key Largo looking for highly detail-oriented Host. Host will be trained alongside servers, bussers and food runners and will be required to have all product knowledge and skills that servers have. "If the kitchen is the heart of the restaurant, the host stand is the brain."

Duties:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Operate the POS system to process payments and manage orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
• Assist in ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
• Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
• Handle payments with precision and integrity (no cash handling involved)
• Learn guests' last names and refer to them by their names at all times

Experience:

• Previous experience in fine dining and/or high volume preferred
• Food Handlers certification and Responsible Alcohol Vendors certification preferred
