Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower students to flourish by providing specialized Occupational Therapy services in an engaging educational setting. Desired Skills and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license with eligibility for school-based practice Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred Comfortable delivering services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms Strong foundation in developing fine and gross motor skills in children Ability to evaluate and implement IEP goals effectively Exceptional communication and collaboration abilitiesKey Responsibilities:
Assess student needs and craft individualized treatment plans targeting sensory, fine, and gross motor skill development Deliver therapy sessions in both one-on-one and small group formats—on campus and virtually as needed Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines Consult with educators, parents, and other specialists to integrate OT strategies into the classroom environment Contribute to IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates on student progress Remain up-to-date with best practices and compliance requirements relevant to school-based Occupational Therapy This role offers flexibility and meaningful engagement with students, alongside the opportunity to broaden your skills in both traditional and telehealth approaches.
