In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty dozers to shape and prepare construction sites efficiently and safely. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of various projects, ensuring that earthmoving tasks are executed with precision and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment, including Caterpillar dozers, loaders, excavators, and more, in a fast-paced construction environment. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience will be key to maintaining smooth operations and supporting the overall project goals. Duties Operate finished dozers to level ground, move materials, and prepare sites for construction activities Use auxiliary attachments such as graders, water trucks, or horizontal drilling equipment as needed for specific tasks Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, and other machinery on-site Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or equipment issues immediately Assist with site layout, grading, and paving operations to achieve project specifications Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and site conditions Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks Proven experience operating construction machinery such as Caterpillar dozers and other heavy equipment in a construction setting Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on heavy machinery Commercial driving skills with a valid license for operating large vehicles like dump trucks or tanker trucks Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations Experience working with horizontal drilling or paving projects is a plus Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Join our team if you're passionate about heavy equipment operation and eager to contribute your skills to exciting construction projects!
