We are seeking someone who is self motivated and wants to help people who have experienced fire and water damage at their home or business.

Job Description:

Our Technicians are responsible for the clean up and restoration at Residential or Commercial properties that have been damaged by Smoke, Water or Fire. No experience needed, we will train. Looking for an individual with a good attitude and willingness to learn. We have a generous over time policy. We pay overtime base on the time of day worked. If you work after hours or on the weekends you will make 1.5X your base hourly rate of pay regardless of how many hours you have worked during that pay period. Please refer to the SM Overtime Procedures. In addition to being paid over time, for every five hours of over time worked, you accumulate one hour of paid time time off. We have a lot of out of town work opportunities, these result in an increase in base pay and a per diem paid for every night while staying out of town. Out of town work is not required but is a great opportunity to make extra money.

Need to be able to/have:

• Clean driving record
• Provide own transportation to and from the office where company vehicles are stored.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to communicate with customers and team members on a daily basis in an effective, professional manner.
• Clean appearance
• On call weekly rotation.
• Able to lift at least 40 lbs
• Industry Experience is a plus, but is not required. Technicians encounter waste water and mold. Work also includes, but is not limited to:
• Perform all forms of disaster restoration
• Water damage clean up
• Fire damage clean up
• Mold removal
• Moving of large/heavy furniture
• Clean carpets and Upholstery
• Clean hard surface flooring
• Extensive demolition of building materials
• Packing and categorizing items
