This role involves installing new fire alarm and life safety systems for commercial venue. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical systems, system design, and construction inspection low voltage wiring, and sensor integration. Responsibilities Install and wire fire alarm systems, sensors, and related life safety equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and system design specifications. Read and interpret construction drawings, CAD files, and schematics to ensure accurate system installation. Conduct construction inspections to verify proper wiring practices, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with NEC regulations. Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire alarm and low voltage systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely completion of installations while maintaining high quality standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and service tasks. Provide field service support by diagnosing issues, repairing equipment, and ensuring optimal system performance. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including wiring diagrams, schematics updates, and inspection reports. Qualifications Proven experience in fire alarm wiring, system design, or related electrical fields with a focus on fire sprinkler fitting or low voltage systems. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, CAD software proficiency, and NEC regulations. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for installation tasks. Familiarity with sensors, alarm systems, construction inspection procedures, and service technician responsibilities. Ability to understand electrical concepts related to low voltage wiring for fire alarms and sensors. Prior experience working with fire alarm systems or in the construction industry is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in dynamic environments. Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and project stakeholders.
