Job Description

Electrical and Firmware Engineer needed to support battery management systems, high-voltage applications, embedded firmware, microcontroller development, and communication protocol integration. Job Requirements Electrical engineering or firmware engineering experience Battery management system experience High-voltage experience with 800V-1500V systems Experience with STM32 microcontrollers Experience with MSP430 microcontrollers Experience with ATMEGA microcontrollers Experience with NXP microcontrollers Experience with embedded communication protocols Experience with CANBus, UART, I2C, SPI, SMBus, or Modbus Preferred Skills DroneCAN experience CANAerospace experience Experience developing firmware for battery management systems Experience with high-voltage battery packs or power electronics Experience with embedded C or C++ Experience with hardware/software integration Experience troubleshooting embedded systems, communication issues, and battery system performance Experience with aerospace, drone, EV, or energy storage applications Job Responsibilities Develop and support electrical and firmware systems for battery management applications Design, test, and troubleshoot embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems Work with STM32, MSP430, ATMEGA, and NXP microcontrollers Support high-voltage battery management systems operating in the 800V-1500V range Integrate and troubleshoot communication protocols, including CANBus, DroneCAN, CANAerospace, UART, I2C, SPI, SMBus, and Modbus Support hardware and firmware integration for battery, power, and control systems Diagnose embedded system issues related to communication, control, and battery performance Document firmware, electrical design requirements, test results, and system changes Support development, validation, and improvement of battery management system designs
