Non-Exempt Position Summary The Fiscal Coordinator supports Blue Valley Community Action's financial operations by managing procurement and purchasing, assisting with budgeting and financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with funding and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with Children Services, the Fiscal Director, and executive leadership to promote fiscal accountability, efficiency, and strong internal controls across programs. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Purchasing Manage agency purchasing and procurement processes Develop and maintain procurement procedures and vendor lists Oversee purchasing contracts and analyze spending trends Recommend cost-effective purchasing strategies Children Services Fiscal Support Assist in developing and monitoring program budgets Review expenses for accuracy and allowability Support financial reporting and cost allocation processes Track in-kind contributions and ensure regulatory compliance Provide fiscal support to program leadership Agency-Wide Fiscal Support Assist with financial reporting and fiscal oversight activities Support risk management and contract review processes Partner with leadership to strengthen fiscal systems and compliance Records & Compliance Maintain financial and contractual records Ensure documentation meets audit and regulatory requirements Support records retention and internal controls Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred Skills & Abilities Strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and collaboratively Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Commitment to the agency's mission, values, and ethical standards Work Environment Primarily office-based with standard business hours Eligible for telework Occasional lifting and movement of light materials Why Join Us?
