This position supports both accounting and purchasing functions that keep the hospital's financial activities accurate and timely. The role includes work with invoices, purchasing cards, reports, inventory, and financial systems. As a Fiscal Technician, you will perform the following duties:Financial Processing:
Complete tasks such as verifying invoices, preparing checks, depositing revenue, and posting updates in SAPPurchasing Support:
Assist with purchasing card activities, reconcile statements, review documentation, and help resolve vendor concernsInventory Tracking:
Maintain logs, databases, and records for inventory, fixed assets, and storeroom items, including periodic physical countsRecord Maintenance:
Organize, file, and audit financial documents, contract information, and reconciliations for accuracy and proper documentationStaff Assistance:
Guide employees in entering travel vouchers, answer questions about payment status, and support training related to financial systemsReport Preparation:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday- Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Fiscal Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an Associate degree in accounting or business administration; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
