Our mission is to help people over 40 reclaim their fitness, get rid of nagging injuries, become stronger than they ever imagined, and move better for life. We have a 4-location small-group personal training chain with locations in Woodinville, Kirkland, and Redmond Ridge, and Mill Creek We are looking for 2-3 passionate fitness professionals who are coachable and want to really make a positive impact in their clients' lives inside and outside the gym. After 11 years in the industry, we have a proven system and method for helping people recover from injury and build strength and longevity. We are looking for a permanent full-time personal trainer/ strength coach to coach small group personal training sessions, helping our members change their lives through strength. You would be predominantly helping those clients between the ages of 40 and 70 get strong, lose fat, and lead a healthier lifestyle with your influence and guidance. We have 2 full-time positions available. Who is this perfect for? If you are someone who wants to work on your own, are more into your own fitness journey than your clients, are not a team player or can't have a ton of fun while training clients this is not the place for you. If you are a "rah-rah" type coach this may not be the place for you either. We focus on detailed coaching in a small group or one-on-one environment and that requires a keen eye and being more than just a cheerleader.Position Benefits:

Deliver personalized workouts to small groups and one-on-one clients Energize and motivate clients throughout the sessions Build attendance by providing a positive and memorable experience Ensure the safety of participants Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels and avoid pre-existing injuries Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations Handle or report member concerns when applicable Assist in maintaining a clean and safe facilityRequirements:
PROGRESSIVE PERFORMANCE COACH TRAINER JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills Base-level movement knowledge Desire and capacity to coach all fitness levels Ability to learn, grow, and be coachable Be humble, hungry, and a team player Must hold (or planning to complete) a current fitness certification such as: ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA, ISSA, or NFPT. Others may be considered after review A minimum of 1 year of personal training experience or a degree in an exercise-related field A bachelor's degree in an exercise-related field is preferred Valid CPR/AED certification Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to accept feedback and quickly incorporate changes You will be required to instruct sessions at multiple facilities •Positive energy is a requirement, just like showing up on time. This isn't over the top "rah, rah" but smiling and making members feel good about being around you.'
