POSITION SUMMARY
: Martis Camp is seeking a highly professional, hospitality-driven Fitness Coordinator to play a critical role in the daily operations, programming support, and overall Member experience within the Fitness Department. This position serves as part of the operational backbone of the Fitness Center, ensuring seamless day-to-day execution while supporting the Fitness Director in delivering a best-in-class wellness experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a culture committed to excellence. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
:
FITNESS CENTER OPERATIONS & MEMBER EXPERIENCE
Serve as a visible and engaged presence on the fitness floor, ensuring a warm, polished, and personalized Member experience at all times Set and uphold the standard of excellence in presentation, organization, and hospitality across the Fitness Center and all Member touchpoints Oversee daily facility readiness including cleanliness, equipment organization, towel and water stocking, and overall flow of the space Support operations by assisting with class and personal training setup and breakdown, assisting with transitions between programming, and maintaining an elevated environment throughout the day Act as a resource for Members, answering questions, providing equipment guidance, and supporting fitness assessments (e.g., InBody scans)
DEPARTMENTAL & TEAM SUPPORT
Act as the onsite lead in the absence of the Fitness Director, ensuring continuity, professionalism, and strong decision-making Partner closely with Fitness Attendants and Instructors to ensure alignment in service standards and operational execution Support training, guidance, and day-to-day accountability of Fitness Attendants to maintain consistency in Member experience Collaborate cross-departmentally (Locker Rooms, Spa, Housekeeping, F&B, Facilities) to deliver a seamless and elevated Club experience Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and service delivery within the department
ADMINISTATIVE & BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Manage and maintain accuracy across all systems, including reservations, POS (Jonas), and scheduling platforms Process Member transactions for services including personal training, group fitness, retail, and events Track and report key department metrics including attendance, utilization, and programming performance Support and coordinate data gathering and reporting and general administrative organization for the department Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with Members via phone, email, and in-person interactions
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS
Assist in the creation of elevated, on-brand marketing materials to promote programming, events, and services Partner with internal teams to support storytelling around the Fitness Department through newsletters, app content, and communications Ensure all messaging reflects Martis Camp's signature, thoughtful, and elevated approach
LEADERSHIP & CULTURE
Champion a culture of hospitality, accountability, and excellence within the Fitness Team Lead by example through professionalism, positivity, and attention to detail Contribute to company-wide initiatives and uphold Martis Camp's standards across all interactions Foster a team environment where both Members and Ambassadors feel supported, valued, and inspired
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND LICENSURE

WAGE AND BENEFITS
