Fleet Diesel Mechanic

Summary We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our dedicated team at ITL Tanklines in the US. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet, contributing to our mission of delivering flawless service to our customers. Responsibilities Arrive each day on time ready to work Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Accurately diagnose and perform repairs on company equipment. Perform routine and preventative maintenance services. Clearly document descriptions for work performed and parts used. Perform DOT Inspections. Inform the driver of issues and resolutions. Be able to follow safety procedures and adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures. Keep work area clean. Put away tools and clean up after every unit completion. Road calls as needed. Rotating on call for one week (Friday-Thursday) as scheduled Perform jobs in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Required Qualifications Must be 21 years old 3 years verifiable mechanic experience Reliable transportation Clean MVR with current license Must pass company physical Provide Own basic tools Basic computer skills Strong work ethic and attention to detail and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to mentor and support less experienced technicians Ability to lift 75 lbs Preferred Qualifications Diesel engine repair-1 yr Dealer experience preferred Proficient in brake and wheel end DOT Inspection certified Welding experience Cummins Insite experience Schedule Monday thru Friday(On call as required per schedule) 7 A.M.-5 P.M.
