Fleet Mechanic

Essential Functions:

Inspect fleet equipment to locate and determine the extent of necessary repair Perform maintenance work to DOT standards for over the road equipment Perform general repair work on gasoline, diesel, propane and battery powered engines/equipment Perform preventative maintenance work on vehicles including lubrication, oil changes and annual inspections Clean and maintain the work area and equipment Maintain records on all maintenance and repair work performed

Job Requirements:

General diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to locate and resolve problems in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems Knowledge of standard practices, equipment and tools of the fleet equipment trade Experience with maintaining refrigerated trailers including understanding of Thermo King units. Ability to lift 75+lbs Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions Basic welding, fabrication, wiring and maintenance experience Preferred Qualities 3+ years experience Class A CDL Interested candidates apply online at www.weavereggs.com.
