Job Description

Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring reliable and motivated individuals to join our Fleshing Department as Fleshers. This is a long-term career opportunity for individuals interested in learning a specialized, in-demand trade with paid training, steady work, and performance-based earnings. A Flesher is a specialized industrial role within meat processing, tanning, and hide production. The primary responsibility is to operate specialized machinery and hand tools to remove fat, tissue, and membrane from animal hides in preparation for tanning, manufacturing, or distribution. As a Flesher, you will work indoors processing animal hides as part of the tanning process. You will receive hands-on training from experienced professionals and learn to safely operate specialized equipment, including high-speed rotating knives and fleshing machinery. Schedule Monday - Saturday Pay Starting at $11.00 per hour
Responsibilities Machine Operation:
Load heavy hides onto flesher machines and monitor equipment to ensure smooth, continuous operation.
Scraping & Trimming:
Remove excess flesh, fat, and tissue from raw hides to prevent spoilage and maintain quality standards.
Quality Control:
Inspect processed hides to ensure they meet production specifications and quality expectations.
Sanitation & Maintenance:
Clean work areas regularly, sanitize equipment, and assist with routine machinery maintenance such as blade changes and lubrication.
Compliance:
Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and workplace hygiene standards. Other duties may be assigned Benefits of the Job!
