Flex / Fill In Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Flex/Fill in Security Officer to uphold safety and security standards across construction site facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access points, and ensuring the safety of personnel, visitors, and assets. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to conflict management will be vital in maintaining a secure environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to serve as the frontline defender of our organization's safety protocols while utilizing your expertise in surveillance, law enforcement principles, and emergency response procedures. Hours for this position 430a to 11a Monday to Friday and 430a to 11a Saturday and Sunday and 11a to 6p Saturday and Sunday. With Potential increase after 90 days of continued service without missing any shifts. We are looking for Fill in officers to assist with covering for days off and vacation requests Duties Monitor access at guard shack locations, surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and prevent security breaches Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate disputes Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting and record-keeping purposes Experience Proven experience in security operations or law enforcement roles is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies Background in military or security service enhances readiness for this role Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and emergency response procedures Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor Join us as a Security Officer and become an essential part of our commitment to safety!
