Flex Security Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, employees, and visitors across multiple warehouse sites. This role requires a proactive professional who can effectively monitor facilities, respond to incidents, and uphold security standards with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect unauthorized activity or potential security risks. Monitor and operate surveillance systems (including CCTV) to identify and respond to suspicious behavior. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, administering first aid or CPR when required. Enforce facility rules, regulations, and safety policies to maintain a secure environment. Support loss prevention initiatives by identifying and mitigating risks of theft or fraud. Prepare detailed, accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents. Work collaboratively with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed. Utilize effective de-escalation and conflict management techniques when handling disputes or confrontations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must possess a valid Unarmed or Armed Guard License . Primary assignment located in Arlington , with flexibility to travel between three warehouse locations as needed. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Prior experience in security or law enforcement strongly desired. Proficiency in operating CCTV and other security surveillance systems . Strong observational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and in emergency situations. Familiarity with loss prevention procedures is a plus.
