Accepting applications A growing multifamily ownership group is seeking a dependable and hands-on Floating Maintenance Technician to support two apartment communities in

Southgate, MI:

Old Towne Villa and La Colonnade Apartments. The properties are located just minutes apart and total approximately 210 units combined.

Responsibilities:

Complete apartment turns and prepare units for new residents Respond to and complete resident service requests in a timely manner Troubleshoot and perform basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs Assist with preventative maintenance and property upkeep Diagnose HVAC-related issues and coordinate with outside contractors when necessary Maintain curb appeal and ensure communities remain clean and operational Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and management teams Float between both multifamily communities as needed

Qualifications:

Previous multifamily maintenance experience required Strong knowledge of general apartment maintenance operations Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting experience required Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and determine when outside vendors are needed EPA certification is not required; however, HVAC diagnostic knowledge is preferred Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service skills Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks #
