Floor Technician - Woodland Village Nursing Center - Days - PRN

The Floor Technician performs daily floor care, cleaning, buffing and refinishing floors, cleaning carpets, shower rooms, and performing housekeeping duties as assigned. Maintains the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance of designated floor areas Responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpet and hard surface floors Performs stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning of hard surface flooring Shampoos, extracts, and spots carpeted floor surfaces Responsible for the proper use, care, maintenance and storage of environmental services equipment, tools, and materials according to protocol Report requests for repairs to supervisor or maintenance Participates as a member of the team to achieve business goals, quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction Provides assistance to team members as requested or required Regular and timely attendance is required for this job Participates on committees/councils and performance improvement activities as requested/required Successful completion of probation and annual skills/competency requirements Practices within legal, ethical, and professional boundaries Maintains expertise in the area Serves as a role model by demonstrating positive team based behaviors Shows commitment to personal professional growth through the pursuit of advanced knowledge and skills Safeguards confidential information Performance of duties will be in compliance with all laws and regulations governing healthcare organizations Performs other related duties as assigned or requested Contributes to the daily operations of the department by performing other roles as needed
