Responsibilities Execute flooring installation projects, including tile laying, carpet, hardwood, laminate, and vinyl flooring with precision and attention to detail Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate material measurement and placement Prepare surfaces by performing concrete finishing, floor leveling, water damage restoration, and floor prep work to ensure optimal installation conditions Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fitting, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and finishing touches Conduct restoration work on damaged floors due to water or other issues, restoring surfaces to their original condition or better Assist with remodeling projects by providing expert advice on flooring options and coordinating with other trades such as cabinet installation and construction painting Maintain a clean work environment by buffing floors, performing floor care routines, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, buffing equipment, and other construction tools Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage restoration and floor care techniques Familiarity with carpentry skills such as trim carpentry, fixture installation, concrete finishing, remodeling, and cabinet installation Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately to execute precise installations Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with strong attention to detail in all aspects of flooring work Join us in delivering exceptional craftsmanship on every project!
