Job Description

They work with FM to better understand the hazards that can impact their business continuity to make cost-effective risk management decisions, combining property loss prevention with insurance protection. Under the direction of the Campus Manager or delegate, leads small team that performs various custodial duties such as office and workspace cleaning, restroom cleaning, laundry, furniture moves, visitor center set-up and take-down, sidewalk snow removal, grounds-keeping, and responding to tenant requests. Keep the buildings clean and professional for employees, visitors, and tours. Assists with administrative tasks required for maintaining a clean, professional environment in assigned buildings. Tasks are planned around the various activities occurring at the campus such as testing in the labs, training sessions, and visitor days. Trains custodian team in their responsibilities and expectations and delegates assignments appropriately. Routinely inspects the cleanliness of the campus including the work of his/her team if supervising one. Takes necessary actions to maintain campus cleanliness and safety. Routinely cleans and maintains the following - offices and common building areas, labs, rest rooms, linens and work clothes, and windows. Empties trash and garbage containers. Lab cleaning is limited to vacuuming, dusting, and general trash removal. Periodic floor stripping, waxing, buffing, etc. Sets-up conference and function room furniture, fixtures and simple audio-visual equipment. Performs other assistance tasks as directed. Reports any identified problems needing repair to maintenance personnel. Qualifications High School diploma or GED required 5-10 years of custodial experience (or 5+ years as a Campus Custodian) Strong knowledge of general cleaning practices and equipment Experience safely handling cleaning chemicals Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience. Qualifications:
