Job Description
Oakhurst Country Club , located in Clayton, CA , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Food and Beverage Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Manage daily operations of dining outlets, banquet services, bars. Ensure consistent high-quality service and presentation across all food and beverage outlets. Training of front-of-house food and beverage personnel. Oversee the restaurant(s) to ensure all tables are taken care of and all team members are accomplishing the assigned tasks Oversee closing procedures and ensure cleanliness and readiness of service areas.Member and Guest Experience:
Manage with members and guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly. Promote a culture of hospitality and personalized service in line with country club standards. Support the coordination and execution of club events, private functions, and tournaments.Staff Supervision and Development:
Lead by example and motivate the food and beverage team. Assist in training programs for new hires and continuous development of staff. Participate in performance evaluations and coaching.Administrative Duties:
Assist with inventory management. Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Manage daily operations of dining outlets, banquet services, bars. Associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred. 2-4 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a private club, upscale restaurant, or resort. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in POS systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, email). ServSafe or Food Handler Certification preferred.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.Work Environment:
