This role ensures exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, and elevated member experiences across all dining venues, bars, banquet functions, golf events, and club programming. The Food & Beverage Manager works collaboratively with the General Manager, Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, culinary leadership team, banquet team, and department managers while maintaining primary responsibility for front-of-house operations, beverage programming, staff leadership, and member service execution. This role is highly visible within the Club and requires a strong floor presence, member engagement, and leadership focused on delivering a premier private club dining experience. Operational Leadership Oversee daily front-of-house operations across all dining outlets, bars, patios, banquet spaces, and club events. Maintain a visible presence during service periods to ensure execution of service standards and member satisfaction. Coordinate closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless communication between kitchen and service teams. Oversee outlet readiness, service standards, event setup, and facility presentation. Support execution of golf outings, member tournaments, racquet events, social functions, and holiday programming. Monitor service flow and staffing levels to maintain operational excellence. Service Excellence & Member Relations Uphold hospitality standards consistent with a premier private club environment. Build strong relationships with members through visibility and engagement. Anticipate member preferences and proactively resolve service concerns. Ensure consistency across all dining venues and events. Partner with club leadership to continuously enhance member dining experiences. Staff Leadership & Development Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and mentor front-of-house and beverage staff. Establish service expectations and operating standards. Conduct coaching, evaluations, and ongoing professional development. Foster a culture emphasizing accountability, teamwork, and hospitality. Support employee engagement and retention initiatives. Financial & Administrative Management Maintain POS accuracy including menu programming, pricing, and reporting. Monitor labor scheduling and departmental efficiencies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and departmental financial performance. Develop and maintain SOPs for service and beverage operations. Ensure accurate reporting related to inventory, beverage costs, and operational metrics. Events & Member Programming Coordinate execution of club events, holiday functions, member dining experiences, and private events. Support planning and service delivery for golf tournaments, racquet events, banquets, weddings, and social programming. Ensure service standards and staffing levels align with event demands. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards. Enforce responsible alcohol service and state liquor regulations. Maintain required certifications and staff compliance. Coordinate ServSafe requirements and related training initiatives. Candidate Qualifications 3-5+ years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience, preferably within private clubs, resorts, or luxury hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of upscale dining service standards and beverage operations. Experience leading service teams, scheduling, and staff development. Strong understanding of POS systems, inventory controls, and financial reporting. Excellent communication, leadership, and member-relations skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and club events as required. Passion for hospitality, service excellence, and private club culture.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
