About our property:
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is nestled high atop the majestic San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174'. This Resort is surrounded by an ocean of Ponderosa Pines and gives guests exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a reservoir with a surface area of 780 acres. Lake Arrowhead is the perfect location for outdoor adventure enthusiasts and offers a variety of summertime and wintertime activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. The resort includes a Bar & Restaurant, Spa & Wellness Center, Outdoor Pool & Lake Beach as well as over 23,000 sq. ft of meeting and events space. What you will have an opportunity to do:
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort's outlets; ensuring excellent guest service, high-quality food and beverage offerings, and overall profitability. This role involves managing restaurant staff, maintaining inventory, enforcing quality standards and optimizing service efficiency while upholding resort policies and standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for daily outlet food and beverage operations, including dining service, reservations and guest interactions. Ensure smooth and efficient workflow between the kitchen, bar and in front of the house teams. Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation and service standards. Maintain compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations as well as liquor laws. Provide a welcoming and memorable dining experience for guests. Address guest inquiries, complaints and special requests professionally and efficiently. Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Monitor reviews and feedback to continuously improve service quality. Monitor the inventory of food, beverage and supplies as well as labor expenses; ensuring cost effectiveness. Collaborate with Director of Outlets to assist with development of special promotions, seasonal offerings and themed events to attract guests. Recruit, train, schedule and supervise restaurant servers, hosts, bartenders, bussers, and any other role which reports to the restaurant. Ensure associates adhere to hotel policies, grooming standards and service protocols. Must be available to lead operations in all outlets when necessary
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred. 3-5 years of restaurant management experience. Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software is preferred. Ability to multitask, problem solver approach, and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours; including weekends and holidays. What are we looking for?
