Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. The Food & Beverage Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence across casual dining, catering, and bar services. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all food and beverage operations, including kitchen management, restaurant service, catering, and bar services. Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction. Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting. Control inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to minimize waste while meeting operational needs. Train, develop, and mentor staff to uphold service standards; conduct interviewing and hiring processes for new team members. Implement staff scheduling and shift management to optimize coverage during peak hours. Enforce food safety regulations and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with health codes. Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and oversee cost control initiatives to maximize profitability. Coordinate with culinary teams on food production, menu development, and special event catering such as banquets. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Develop operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency across all departments. Experience Proven management experience in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment; hotel experience is preferred. Extensive background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management. Proficiency with POS systems including Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential. Demonstrated success in supervising teams within hospitality or food service settings; leadership roles such as assistant manager are highly valued. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, budgeting, and cost management practices. Experience with staff training & development programs; ability to lead through training & mentorship. Prior experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles involving shift management and customer service excellence is desirable.
