Job Description Minnehaha Country Club is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Fine Dining Food Expeditor to join our exceptional team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of food from the kitchen to the tables, providing our guests with an outstanding dining experience. Responsibilities Coordinate and communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely completion and delivery of food orders. Review all food orders for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to special requests or dietary restrictions. Ensure all food items are appropriately garnished, plated, and presented according to our high-quality standards. Manage multiple food orders simultaneously, prioritizing based on guest preferences, timing, and table assignments. Work closely with the kitchen to monitor food preparation times and adjust as necessary to maintain optimal service levels. Verify the correct table numbers and seat positions for each food order, ensuring efficient delivery. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food service areas. Assist servers with delivering food to tables when necessary and provide additional support as needed. Address any guest concerns or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to continually improve processes and enhance the overall dining experience. Requirements Previous experience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment is preferred. Strong knowledge of fine dining service etiquette and standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate between the kitchen and serving staff. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and make quick, accurate decisions.
