• Job Summary and Qualifications
• The Food & Nutrition Food Service Worker I will be a competent Support Services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department.

Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance management plan.

• What you will do in this role:
• + Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures.

+ Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPPA guidelines. + Always Maintains and adheres to Food & Nutrition uniform and personal appearance standards. + Reports all hazardous and/or unsafe work conditions. + Utilizes proper processes to achieve patient, customer and physician satisfaction goals. + Utilizes systems to ensure quality process/standards in food production. + Reports customer complaints to appropriate supervisor. + Fosters a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization. + Participates in team and individual employee training. + Participates in training with other members of the Food Services department staff to further develop/advance within the industry. + Finance + Utilizes cost-control processes to meet goals and reduce waste. + Follows all time keeping standards, time clock procedures, meal breaks, timely clocking in/out. + Performs other duties as assigned. + Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" and "Mission and Value Statement."
