Food Prep

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Food Prep Associate to join our kitchen team. This role is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service operations. Our restaurant is very busy so candidates should be prepared to manage time efficiently. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Experience preferred. Will consider both full-time and part-time candidates. Responsibilities Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion vegetables, fruits, meats, and other ingredients Prepare sauces, dressings, and simple menu items according to recipes Label, date, and store food properly following food safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness of prep stations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas Receive and organize deliveries Monitor inventory levels and report shortages Follow sanitation, health, and safety procedures at all times Assist cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods as needed Qualifications Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Dependable attendance and punctuality Food Handler Certification preferred (if required by state/local laws) If you're committed to working with a team in a respectful and supportive way, you're the person we're looking for. Pay:

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
