Job Description

Overview Join our fast-paced food manufacturing team as a Food Production Associate. Your attention to detail will help produce high-quality products while supporting food safety, quality, and efficiency. You'll keep operations running smoothly, safely, and in line with industry standards. Your hands-on approach and mechanical aptitude will also help maintain equipment performance and drive continuous improvement. Starting Wage for 1st shift $13.75+ $1.00 Attendance Bonus = $14.75 Starting Wage for 2nd shift $15.13 (10% premium) + $1.00 Attendance Bonus = $16.13 Starting Wage for 3rd shift $15.82 (15% premium) + $1.00 Attendance Bonus = $16.82 Responsibilities Operate and monitor food processing machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow strict FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to maintain food safety standards. Assist in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of food products according to specified procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas by adhering to sanitation protocols and GMP standards. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process, documenting any deviations or issues for corrective action. Support inventory management by accurately handling raw materials, supplies, and finished goods using basic math skills. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure continuous production flow, including operating forklifts when necessary. Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with food industry manufacturing or food processing plants is preferred but not required. Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and food safety practices is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery maintenance is a plus. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory and quality control purposes. Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and safety protocols. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to specified weights, and perform manual tasks as needed.
