Description:

To assist the food service personnel in providing members and guests an enjoyable dining experience.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

The following job duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Prepare dining room for patrons by setting tables and stocking all necessary supplies prior to the beginning of service. 2. Prepare food orders and ensure accuracy in window and deliver to tables. 3. Maintain full knowledge of menu items and specials. 4. Clear tables of dishware and debris after meals. 5. Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean by sweeping or picking up debris. 6. Maintain appropriate levels of glassware, silverware and dishware in the server stations. 7. Collect trash from dining room, grill and other specified places after each serving period. 8. Wipe chairs before and after meals. 9. Stock server stations with supplies. 10. Assist in moving dining room furniture as requested. 11. Other duties as assigned.

Exhibit and practice professional and courteous behavior while interacting with both internal and external customers, in person and in email or telephone conversations. Comply with all rules, regulations and policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and/or established by the Board of Governors. Adhere to the Club's Code of Ethics and Conduct. Must be cognizant of the rules and regulations of the facility for the safety and welfare of the staff and members and enforce them when necessary. Must be able to work well under pressure and meet all deadlines. Adhere to all stated policies and procedures. Attend pre-meal meetings as requested by dining room supervisor.

Education:

Attending high school, GED program, or equivalent.

Skills:

Strong customer service skills. Strong communication and cooperative skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to interact with a large and varied group of people including members and potential members in a professional and courteous manner.

Knowledge and Certificates:

Prior experience preferred but not required.

Experience :

Customer service experience preferred but not required.

Physical Demands of Work Environment:

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met and/or encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 1. Requires indoor and outdoor work. 2. Schedule and times are usually set but may vary occasionally. Work week is Monday through Sunday. 3. While performing duties of the job, employee is required to stand for most of their shift. Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee is required to regularly kneel or crouch, bend, reach overhead and walk. 4. Must be able to pull and lift up to fifteen (15) pounds regularly and occasionally up to forty (40) pounds. 5. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

1. Uniform required (Club provided). 2. Two retractable pens, crumber, wine key, lighter, side towel and name tag (Club supplied).
