Food Runner & Busser

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete before serving. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times. Communicate effectively with team members to address any guest needs or concerns. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting for new guests as needed. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience in banquet service or catering environments is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in culinary arts, hospitality, or hotel services can enhance your candidacy.
