What You'll Do:

As a Food Service Associate at Hobo Pantry, you'll play a key role in delivering a fast, friendly, and high-quality experience for every customer. This position blends food preparation with customer service in a dynamic convenience store environment. Prepare and serve a variety of fresh food items, including breakfast offerings, pizzas, sandwiches, and chicken, following company recipes and food safety standards Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit, and digital transactions Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage to ensure consistency and safety Restock inventory and communicate supply needs to management Work collaboratively with team members to keep operations running smoothly

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in food service, QSR, or convenience retail is helpful but not required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-energy environment Comfortable handling cash and operating a register accurately Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Food handler certification is a plus (training may be provided) Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
