Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Operate Toast POS systems to process orders accurately and swiftly Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through proper food handling, bussing tables, and cleaning work areas Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines and proper food storage procedures Assist in food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy periods Skills Mandatory Food Handlers Certification and TABC Certification. Mandatory reliable transportation as this is scheduled shift work. Proven experience in food preparation, quick service & fast food restaurant environments, or retail food industry roles Familiarity with Toast POS systems, but not mandatory Toast is #01 in the USA and easy to pick up for efficient cashiering and order processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engage positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store transactions, and retail math applications Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking across multiple responsibilities Experience with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting overall restaurant operations This role(s) offers part time wage hours per week that far exceed most positions available.
