Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Director to lead and elevate our culinary operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of food service management, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and resident satisfaction. Your leadership will drive the success of our food production,and hospitality services, fostering a positive environment for staff and residents alike. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional with strong management skills to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. Duties Lead and manage daily food service operations, including kitchen management, food preparation, and customer service excellence. Oversee food production processes to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Supervise Dietary staff, including cooks, aides , provide training and mentorship to foster growth. Coordinate shift management to optimize staffing levels and operational flow during Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures across all departments. Develop menus and oversee food presentation to enhance resident experience while managing costs effectively. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to maintain budgetary goals. Foster a culture of teamwork, leadership, and continuous improvement within the food service environment. Experience Proven management experience in Healthcare food service settings with supervisory responsibilities. background in food production, cooking techniques. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and dietary requirements within the healthcare environment Demonstrated leadership skills in managing diverse teams within fast-paced kitchens Familiarity with kitchen management systems, shift scheduling, and inventory control tools. Prior experience in the healthcare food industry
