About Salsa Caterers & Special Events, Inc:
Salsa is an off-premises catering, food service, and special events company specializing in Traditional Criollo cuisines. While Latino food is our specialty, Salsa offers diverse menus for most cultural affairs. About the
Role:
We're looking for a Driver/Delivery Team Lead who can work approximately 40 hours per week (per diem, as needed), flexible days, including weekends. They will pick up and load the food into their vehicle and deliver it to multiple locations including Senior Centers, Off-Premise venues, private events and more. This person will be in direct contact with the clients and will be responsible for arriving on time, being courteous and flexible when needed as some deliveries may also include set-up.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Food Services:
Attend Beginning of Shift Huddle Perform start of shift tasks Check vehicle for readiness
Quality Control:
Ensure all Route Delivery Sheets are accurate and up to date for all locations Pickup and load all food, beverages and supplies into the vehicle Confirm delivery contact person and information including the delivery address Keep in constant contact with the Team Lead and the client in case of delay Unload all items and confirm correct meal count, temperature log (when appropriate) and have paperwork signed by the client Return to
Salsa:
Check the gas level in the vehicle and fill it up if needed. Gas level should not fall below half a tank Clean and properly store all totes, bins, food carriers, dollies, and other equipment before ending your shift Check your route for the next day Attend End of Day Team Huddle Have Team Lead clear you to clock out
Vehicle Accountability:
Ensure the interior is kept clean daily, free of garbage and spills. Take vehicle to car wash weekly Report any malfunctions, repairs and or maintenance (oil change per 3,000 miles) needed to FS management.
Catering:
Quality Control:
Check Catering BEO to ensure that your delivery order is correct Confirm the order is complete according to the BEO and Picking & Packing List. Check off each item with a pen/pencil. Pickup, check in and load all food, beverages and production into the vehicle Confirm delivery contact person and information including the delivery address Keep in constant contact with the Event Coordinator and the client in case of delay Unload all items and set up the buffet. Have the customer sign BEO confirming all has been received per order. Make notes of any issues. Return to

Role Qualifications:
Own vehicle (either a Van or SUV) preferred Able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. Valid State Driver's License Fluent in
English/Spanish Pay:
$20.00 per hour
