Job Overview Food Truck Crew Member Big Joe's Fry Shop is seeking energetic, reliable, and fast-paced Food Truck Crew Members to support daily operations of our Opportunity Truck throughout Stanislaus County. This is a hands-on food service position ideal for individuals who enjoy fast food, fast-casual, grill, or food truck environments and take pride in delivering consistently great food and customer service in a high-energy setting. Crew Members assist with grill and fryer operations, food preparation, order taking, food assembly, customer service, cleaning, setup, breakdown, and event support while helping maintain a professional and efficient service environment. Team members are expected to move with urgency, communicate well under pressure, maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, and contribute positively to team operations during busy service periods. Big Joe's Fry Shop specializes in smash burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, loaded fries, and other signature menu items served through the Opportunity Truck. This role is ideal for individuals who understand the pace and expectations of quick-service food environments and who enjoy working as part of a strong operational team. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with grill, fryer, and food assembly operations during service Prepare menu items according to recipes and quality standards Maintain food quality, presentation, portion consistency, and speed of service Take customer orders accurately using POS systems and cash handling procedures Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service Assist with food prep, stocking, restocking, and station setup Support opening, closing, cleaning, and sanitation procedures Assist with food truck setup and breakdown for events and service locations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards Work collaboratively with managers, staff, and Nourish students during service Safely operate the food truck when assigned Assist with transporting supplies or equipment as needed Qualifications Valid California driver's license and clean driving record required Previous fast food, restaurant, food truck, or food service experience preferred Grill or line cook experience strongly preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Food safety or ServSafe certification preferred Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply Schedule & Compensation Part-Time Position Flexible scheduling based on truck operations and events Evening and weekend availability may be required

Compensation:
