Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Food Truck Manager to oversee daily food truck operations. This role is responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, coordinating inventory, and helping grow daily sales through efficient operations and strong leadership. The ideal candidate is energetic, adaptable, comfortable working in fast-paced environments, and capable of managing both front-of-house and operational responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Open and close the food truck according to operational procedures Manage daily food truck setup, breakdown, and cleanliness Ensure smooth and efficient service during operating hours Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance issues Maintain compliance with local health, fire, and food safety regulations Staff Management Lead by example with professionalism and strong work ethic Delegate responsibilities during service shifts Conduct performance coaching and resolve staff conflicts Ensure team members follow safety, sanitation, and customer service standards Maintain proper staffing levels for busy periods and events Customer Service Deliver exceptional customer experiences Resolve customer concerns professionally and quickly Maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere Ensure order accuracy and timely service Engage with customers and promote repeat business Inventory & Supply Management Monitor inventory levels for food, beverages, packaging, and supplies coordinate need with Victoria Communicate the need of products and coordinate deliveries with Chef Kester Minimize waste and track product usage Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain records Ensure all products are stored safely and properly Financial Responsibilities Handle daily cash reconciliation and POS reporting Assist with budgeting and sales tracking Prepare end-of-day reports and deposits Food Safety & Compliance Enforce sanitation and hygiene procedures Ensure compliance with all health department regulations Maintain food handling certifications as required Conduct regular cleaning and safety checks Keep licenses, permits, and inspections up to date Qualifications Previous food service, hospitality, or food truck management experience preferred Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer applications Valid driver's license preferred (CDL not typically required unless applicable) Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in fast-paced, confined spaces Ability to travel to multiple locations and events Expectations for Success Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts Maintain professional appearance and attitude Lead the team with accountability and positivity Keep the truck clean, organized, and operationally ready Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings Meet operational, sales, and efficiency goals Adapt quickly to changing schedules, weather, and customer volume Ensure compliance with all safety and health standards at all times Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay Cash tips Flexible scheduling Growth opportunities Employee meals & family discounts Paid training How to Apply Please submit: Resume Brief summary of relevant experience Availability Any food safety certifications or licenses We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and can help create an outstanding food truck experience for our customers every day.
