Foot / Vehicle Patrol Officer

We are seeking experienced Vehicle and Foot Patrol Officers to become an integral part of our security team in Moreno Valley. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned commercial and retail properties while identifying risks to staff, tenants, and patrons in a high-traffic shopping center / mall environment. This is not an entry level position. Officers must understand the balance between strong security presence and professional customer service. Our officers are expected to address loitering, trespassing, and transient activity with firmness, respect, and professionalism while maintaining the integrity and reputation of the property.

Important Requirements:

AM Responsibilities:

Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols to deter theft, trespassing, vandalism, and criminal activity. Maintain high visibility presence throughout parking lots, storefronts, and common areas. Monitor retail property activity to ensure a safe environment for tenants and shoppers. Address loitering and transient activity respectfully and professionally while enforcing property rules. Remove unauthorized individuals from private property in accordance with post orders and local law. Inspect and secure doors, gates, windows, and access points. Respond to alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and incidents as they arise. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining officer authority. Identify and report hazards such as fire risks, water leaks, unsafe conditions, or suspicious behavior. Contact emergency services when high-risk situations occur. Complete detailed electronic daily activity and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

1-2 years recent full-time patrol security experience in a similar commercial, retail, or mall environment. Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred. Strong report writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to remain calm and professional during confrontational situations. Familiarity with patrol procedures, de-escalation techniques, and security technology. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Must be dependable, alert, professional, and detail oriented.
