Job Description

About the Role We are seeking experienced and driven Foremen to join our growing team. In this leadership role, you will oversee the installation of structured cabling systems, provide hands-on support, lead field teams, and ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Data Link Technology Services (DLTS) is a leading low-voltage and security systems integration contractor based in Chandler, AZ. With over 16 years of experience, we specialize in structured cabling, security, and technology infrastructure for commercial and multi-family projects. Our success is built on technical precision, reliability, and our passion to connect people and technology. We are looking for an experienced F oreman to oversee commercial low-voltage and security system projects from planning through completion. This role requires leadership, technical understanding, and accountability for quality, profitability, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage structured cabling projects from start to finish Lead and mentor field technicians in the installation of copper and fiber optic systems Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety standards Interpret and work from construction drawings, blueprints, and schematics Coordinate materials, equipment, and schedules with project managers Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cabling systems and installation Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams Maintain job documentation and project reporting On-Site Duties Build out telecommunications and server rooms (MDF/IDF) Install cable support systems (ladder racks, J-hooks, cable trays, etc.) Pull and terminate
CAT 6/CAT
5e, coaxial, and fiber optic cables Install security systems, access control, CCTV, and A/V components Use Fluke or similar testers for copper and fiber certification and troubleshooting Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Work on ladders and lifts, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed Meet project deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in structured cabling, with leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of copper and fiber cabling standards and installation practices Proficient in cable testing and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Fluke testers) Ability to read and interpret technical documents and floor plans OSHA safety knowledge and compliance Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as required Ability to work independently and manage a small team on-site Preferred Qualifications BICSI Installer/Technician or other industry certifications (preferred but not required) Have or able to obtain Osha10/30 cert Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off and Sick Leave Opportunities for career growth and continued training Apply Today!
