Videos Duties Help Represents the Forest Supervisor in any transaction affecting the Forest, either in-service or out, with the same degree of authority to commit the Forest, but subject to post review by a superior. Position will focus on disaster recovery efforts for the unit. Builds community, welcomes diverse and new perspectives, remains invested and stays informed of current social, political, and economic issues and concerns within assigned geographical area. s responsibility with the Forest Supervisor for providing technical and administrive leadership in and direction to all activities on the Forest. Provides leadership, alloces resources, and implements activities to accomplish Forest Service multicultural organizion direction and Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights requirements, goals, policies, and objectives. Fosters an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are leveraged to achieve the vision and mission of the organizion. Performs supervisory duties more than 25% of the time, including establishing and communicing guidelines and performance requirements to employees, conducting formal performance reviews, and establishing production or quality standards. If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
