Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating various types of heavy equipment, and ensuring the safe movement of goods throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in maintaining organization, supporting productivity, and ensuring accurate and timely movement of inventory. Responsibilities Safely move the forklift from lumber pile to lumber pile to pick specific quantities from a printed pick list. Unload the trucks that come in units of lumber or with metal plates. Occasionally use a telehandler (will train if not familiar with that piece of equipment). Loading trucks occasionally Keep your work area clean Qualifications 1+ years in production or manufacturing preferred; forklift experience. Our client is wants a team member who uses good judgment, takes initiative, and is willing to learn and improve skills. They also need to be able to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs., and work outdoors in various conditions.
