Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift

Nissin Precision North America is a metal stamping and welded assembly facility located in Englewood, Ohio. We are looking for forklift operator that loads, unloads, and moves materials within the plant and furnishes material for the production area by performing the following duties: Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Provides daily monitoring and reporting of inventory to assure accurate inventory amounts. Responsible for accurate paperwork completion and verification of bills of lading, packing lists, and comparison of items received against the packing sheet. Provides accurate labeling in inventory part numbers and quantities. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Unloads incoming trucks and locates materials to the appropriate area. Loads finished goods onto trucks according to shipping orders and schedules. Counts, weighs, and records number of units of material moved or handled on daily production sheet. Attaches identifying tags or labels to material or marks information on cases, pallets, or other containers. Uses the overhead hoist to change battery for electric forklift truck on an as needed basis. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment when performing this function. Lifts heavy objects by hand or powered forklift truck, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators. Performs daily industrial truck inspection check sheet prior to use. Checks battery cables and battery fluid level prior to use and fill water level as needed. Responsible for warehouse sanitation and housekeeping function. Dumps scrap hoppers as needed. Removes finished product from production area and takes it to shipping & receiving area or finish packaging and put away in finished goods area. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE
