Forklift Operator

Randstad is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator for our premier client in Bohemia, NY. This role is ideal for a precision-driven operator who thrives in a high-volume warehouse environment and prioritizes safety above all else. You will be responsible for the seamless movement of goods to keep the supply chain moving efficiently.

salary:

$18 - $20 per hourshift: Secondwork hours: 3:30 PM - 12

High SchoolResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Equipment Operation:

Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks to move, stack, and retrieve heavy materials.

Loading & Unloading:

Efficiently unload inbound trailers and load outbound freight, ensuring all cargo is secure and verified against manifests.

Order Fulfillment:

Utilize high-reach equipment or cherry pickers to pull products from racking systems with 100% accuracy.

Inventory Management:

Use RF scanners or handheld Zebra devices to track inventory movement and perform cycle counts to maintain system integrity.

Safety Inspections:

Conduct mandatory pre-shift mechanical inspections on all assigned equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.

Production Support:

Deliver raw materials to production lines and transport finished goods to designated shipping areas.
