Forklift Operator Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a local manufacturer who is seeking multiple Forklift Operators. The Forklift Operator will load and unload freight from trucks, pick, pack, and label freight as well as assist with inventory and cycle counts. The ideal Forklift Operator has multiple years of Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment and has excellent computer and math skills. The Forklift Operator position is a full time, temp to hire position in Walnut, MS.

Forklift Operator Job Responsibilities:

Operate Forklifts & General Warehouse Equipment Safely to Move, Stack, & Organize Products Load & Unload Delivery Trucks With Equipment Inspect Forklift Equipment Prior to Each Shift & Report Issues Document All Inspections Accurately Maintain Inventory Records & Verify Shipping Invoices Compared to Product Received Prepare Products For Shipping by

Picking, Packing, & Labeling Materials Communicate With All Departments, Team Members & Supervisors Assist With Inventory Counts & Cycle Counts Maintain A Clean & Safe Work Area Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines Including OSHA Regulations Forklift Operator Job Requirements:

HS Diploma Or Equivalent Required 1

• 2 Years of Forklift Operator Experience in a Manufacturing or Warehouse Facility Demonstrates Excellent Attention to Detail & Time Management Skills Exhibits Solid Math & Computer Skills Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills Exhibits a Strong Work Ethic & Attendance Move & Lift up to 50 lbs
