Forklift Operator/Event Truss Setup/Teardown Laborers We are seeking motivated and dependable forklift operators/laborers to assist with event truss setup and teardown for our DCFC event at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck. There will also be other event opportunities in addition to this one. To interview for this position you must be willing to do face to face via the Indeed app. Must have a valid drivers license. We are paying a day rate for this job. You will be assisting with setup late morning or early afternoon for about 3-4 hours before the event and teardown in the late evening for about 2 hours after the event. During the event you are free to leave to do what you wish and will be given a specific time to return for teardown.

May 20th and June 6th (with more to come)

Forklift Operator Job Duties:

Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials or products Inspect forklifts before and after use to ensure proper working condition Transport materials to designated storage or production areas Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards

Event Truss Setup/Teardown Job Duties:

Assemble and dismantle stage truss systems and event structures Load, unload, and move equipment safely Assist lighting, audio, and staging crews as needed Follow safety procedures and work efficiently as part of a team Maintain clean and organized work areas

Requirements:

Experience safely and skillfully operating a forklift Ability to lift heavy event assets and work on your feet for long periods Must be able to work with a team and follow directions Reliable transportation and punctuality Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Prior event production or construction experience is a plus, but not required Must be dependable, hardworking, and safety-minded Uniform for

Install/Dismantle:

Jeans or other comfortable pants, closed toe shoes. Shirt should be clean and respectable. No large logos, sayings or pictures.

Pay:

$300.00 per day
