Foundry Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) Prairie du Sac, WI 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) Overview We are seeking a Foundry Production Supervisor to lead 2nd shift operations within a fast-paced, heavy manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities across multiple foundry departments, including molding, core, melt, and finishing. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone with strong foundry or metal casting experience who thrives on the production floor and enjoys driving team performance, safety, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Lead and supervise hourly production employees across assigned foundry operations Execute daily production schedules to meet output and delivery targets Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality across departments Ensure adherence to all safety standards and promote a strong safety culture Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to resolve issues quickly Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs Track and report on production metrics, performance, and downtime Train, coach, and develop employees to improve performance and engagement Address employee concerns, resolve issues, and maintain a positive team environmentQualifications Required:
Experience in a foundry, metal casting, or heavy industrial manufacturing environment Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in production Knowledge of foundry processes (melt, molding, core room, finishing, etc.) Ability to manage teams, prioritize work, and meet production goals Comfortable working in a high-heat, industrial environmentPreferred:
Experience with production planning and scheduling Continuous improvement or cost reduction experience Familiarity with manufacturing systems or ERP software Technical training or associate's degree (or equivalent experience) Work Environment Industrial foundry setting with exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipment Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to ~25 lbs) PPE required at all timesSimilar remote jobs
